Ref. DLG B 7 : Everlasting Punishment

''  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal '' Matthew  25:46 

Everlasting  punishment  is  the  damnation  of  hell  fire  ,  that  God  has  reserved  for  sinners  at  the  judgement  day   .The  reality of  everlasting punishment  is  living  in  hell  fire  perpetually , forever  ,  without an  end  .  This  punishment  is  torment  of  hell  fire  reserved for all  sinners who are in  the  company  of  the  devil . '' Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: '' Matthew 25:41 

The punishment of sinners in fire  is for eternity and this is the reason why we draw people's attention to salvation so that they will not found themselves in this place of torment .  According to the rich man in hell fire there is torment of flames . '' And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. '' Luke 16 : 24 This rich man was not only tormented by flames of fire ,he was also extremely thirsty , looking for a drop of water to cool just his tongue .

The demons , which are fallen angels , satan himself and all sinners who were deceived by the devil to do evil will all be chained in the lake of fire , forever . '' And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. '' Jude 1:6 This everlasting punishment is reserved  for all evil workers and deceivers alike who look down on God's word . 

God used Sodom and Gomorrah as an example to show us how that there is punishment for our sins , if we do not repent . '' Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. '' Jude 1:7  God used fire to examplify the fact that all sinners are liable of being condemned in everlasting fire , unless they repent . 

'' But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. '' Revelation 21:8  Jesus made us to understand that all these category of sinners will forever face God's wrath in hell fire , because of their evil deeds . Hell fire is unquestionable and irreversible tide for the sinners . '' O house of David, thus saith the Lord; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. '' Jeremiah 21:12

Prayer 

Heavenly Father , thank you for teaching me to know everlasting punishment reserved for sinners , lead me Lord on the path of righteousness and save my soul so that I will escape this everlasting punishment in th name of Yeshua . 

Ref. DLG B 6 : The Lost Son

'' It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found '' Luke 5:32

In the parable the lost is described as being a prodigal son, this means every sinner lives a life of prodigality . To be prodigal means to be wasteful in expenditure , spending unnecessarily . Most at times people who do not use their life time and resources to honour God are being prodigal . Satan is crafty in making sure that people are wasting their years , on earth and the provision of life God gives them to indulge in all forms of sinful activity .

This lost son was hasty in life , he was the youngest , yet said that he wanted to get his inheritance from the father , while the father was still alive , although inheritance are usually given out when the father pass away .'' And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. '' Luke 5:2 

Most sinners are usually the type who wants to get rich quick , as a result they resort to all forms of evil schemes in order to achieve their desires . The next thing that this lost son did was to go far from the father , '' And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. ''  Luke 15:13 This is one of the causes of people going astray from God the Father ; journeying far from the Father . This means you are  too far from where you can be monitored and controlled  by the word of God , 

There are many lost souls who are  living very far from God's word  ,where God cannot help them . God can only help us when we draw near to him with a sincere heart ready to obey God's  word . And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. '' Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.'' James 5:8 The lost son lost his identity , he forgot who he was , instead he acted ,lived and functioned like an ordinary servant , whereas he was a son of a rich man .

In the process he spent all , lost all and became nobody . ''And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want '' Luke 15:14 When people are lost in sin they loose their glory and their lives become meaningless and devoid of the glory of God  .But at last he came to his senses ,'' I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, ''  Luke 5:18  That is a renewed mind , the mind that sees God , ask for forgiveness , the mind that acknowledges and repents from sin  . It is time for the lost to return to the Father . 

PRAYER 

Lord Jesus help me to be closer to the father , keeping his word and receiving instructions , so that I will never be lost , in the name of Yeshua . 

Ref. DLG B5 : The Lost Coin

'' Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it ? '' luke 15 : 8

The lost coin is a soul that lost in the midst of wealth and riches . This type of sinner is deceived by wealth and riches . This sinner is extremely deceived by wealth and for that matter is enslaved in sin for the purpose of financial gain . For instance gamblers , cocaine dealers ,drug peddlers , fraudsters , prostitutes , arm-robbers etc. These are people who engage in all forms of evil activities just for the money .

In this parable the owner did two main things to find the lost coin . The first attempt is is putting on light ,; the light is categorical of clarity , transparency , description , direction ,life and truth . There are times God expose the sinner to the light , so that he could discover , the truth of God's salvation . Light makes clear what is dart , light describes complex situation well , it is through the light that we see well enough to overcome . 

So God in his attempt to seek for the lost gave us the light , , which is Christ . '' In him was life; and the life was the light of men.5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. '' John 1;4-5 Jesus light throws more light reflections and rays on our life day in and day out , so that we can be enlightened to serve God . ''That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.'' 1:9

The next thing the owner of the lost coin did , was to sweep the house and gather all substance particles and dirt together so he could look inside the refuse in order  to find his lost . The emphasis here is the owner gathering people together into the house of the Lord  , that is the church , on purpose so that he can locate the lost children of God from among the whole lot of people .Multitudes can be gathered together at a place , but usually only a few are saved by God and that is the lost coin .

'' Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.'' Matthew 13:30 In the parables we see that the gathering brought together , both the righteous and sinners alike . But God was able to retrieve the lost sinners who served as the children of the kingdom . '' The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one ; '' Matthew 13:38

Prayer 

Lord thank you for saving my life and now I am found in Christ Jesus . Use me to seek and save the lost in Jesus name . 

Ref. DLG B4 : The Lost Sheep

''  What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it ?  '' Luke 15:4 

The lost sheep is the focus of the seeker , even though there are ninety and nine sheep remain . This emphasize  that  one lost sinner is worth saving and sacrificing for . The Lord knows those who are his and he is working strenuously for their salvation and deliverance . The sheep are usually used in the scriptures to represent the children of God , for instance Isaiah said ''All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. ''  Isaiah 53:6 

When God's children are said to be lost , it means they are living in sin and iniquity , and that the devil is controlling their destiny . The lost sheep is symbolic of those beloved children of God who are gone astray from the path of righteousness . In contrast the remaining sheep are God's beloved children who are following and serving God faithfully. Jesus said , '' And other sheep I have , which are not of this fold , them also I must bring , and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold and one shepherd . '' John 10;16 

Yeshua was referring to the lost sheep when he said  '' other sheep '' who are not in this fold .Jesus mission is seeking and searching for this lost sheep { sinner } at all cost . One may argue that  the owner had to focus on the many sheep  , instead of searching for just one missing sheep . Jesus . however was stressing the relevance of one sinner in God's kingdom . How important it is to pursue the lost at all cost , because they have to come and join the sheep ; the fold of Christ . 

This means that their place is vacant in God's kingdom , and God's rightful place in his kingdom . Why sheep get lost is because they do not follow the voice of the shepherd  who is Christ { don't obey the word of God } '' And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.'' John 10;5 

The lost sheep also follows strangers , listen to strangers voice , is symbolizing strange doctrines and the devil's deceptive voice , they are usually behaving like Adam and Eve , who practically followed the devil's voice and disobeyed the word of God . { Genesis 3:1-11 } 

Prayer  

Lord of salvation , saviour of the world , locate my soul and deliver my life from perishing and use me to save the lost in the name Yeshua . 

Ref. DLG B3 : The Lost

'' For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. '' Luke 19:10

The lost are those who are disconnected from the kingdom of God . These have lost their originality , thus they are typically disinherited from the godly heritage , Therefore they are missing in God's kingdom , Jesus used parables to illustrate how anybody living in sin is lost .Every human being was created for good things , that is to do good deeds . Therefore , if you are found not doing these good deeds , but instead you do evil , then you are lost .

'' For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.'' Ephesians 2:10 There are so many parables Jesus used to emphasize the lost sheep .'' It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. '' Luke 15:4-7  Jesus completed the parable by comparing thou, the lost sheep to a sinner whilst the rest of the sheep symbolises the saints in the kingdom . '' I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. '' Luke 15 :7 

The lost coin is another parable that best explains how the sinner could be found .[ Luke 15;8-10 } Founding the lost sinner is the ultimate joy in heaven , in fact angels rejoice when one sinner repents . ''Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. '' Luke 15:10 Jesus mission is that of salvation for the  lost soul , those wondering and wallowing in sin are totally lost .Another term used for the lost is those who are perishing . '' For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. '' 1 Corinthians 1:18 

The lost are those who are gradually perishing in the spiritual rheam , such are dead in their sins ,they are only a living corpse . '' And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; '' Colossians  2:13 Jesus came on purpose to saved the repentant sinner and recover their soul from that condition of the lost . In Christ Jesus all who believe and repent of their sins are found and their dead soul is made alive in God's kingdom . 

PRAYER 

Lord Jesus Christ thank you for founding my lost soul , use me to also find and save the lost in the name of Yeshua . 

Ref. DLG B2 : Chief Sinners

'' This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief  '' 1 timothy 1:15

Chief sinners are those who are noted for their evil deeds even by the public , their sins are open for every body to see . They sin openly not in the secret , they are wicked people who do not care about what people think or say about their sinful behaviour . Chief sinners are in the category of notorious criminals , like arm robbers , murderers , and people who practice all forms of sexual perversion like lesbians , homosexuals , prostitutes etc. 

Paul who was formerly known as Saul , did so many wicked things against the children of God , by persecuting them to point of stoning them to death ,or imprisoning Christians . All christians in the early church knew Saul { Paul } as an evil person who sought to destroy the church . '' Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: '' Acts 9:13 The opening scripture talks about why Yeshua came , is to save the worst of sinners like Paul  and the like .

One of such chief sinners is the woman caught in adultery , they wanted to stone her according to the commandment in the Law of Moses , but Yeshua saved her .Jesus saves chief sinners with a warning  ''...Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. '' John 8:11 Another chief sinner that God saved was Zaccheus the tax collector , a notorious one for that matter .'' And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. '' luke 19:7 Jesus made it clear to them after Zaccheus confessed that he will restore and give back what he took by fraud , that salvation has come to his house .

''And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.'' Luke 19:9-10 Chief sinners are saved on the platform of repentance and their sins are forgiven . Chief sinners must first of all acknowledge their sins , before and then ask God for forgiveness of sins .

''  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. '' 1 John 1:9-10 That salvation that comes through Yeshua is for sinners , that includes the worst and the most sinful ones referred to s the Chief sinners .

Prayer 

Lord Jesus thank you for your mercies for chief  sinners . Lord cleanse me of all my sins and use me and use me to minister to chief sinners,so that they can be saved in the name of Yeshua .

Ref. DLG B1 : Good People Doing Evil

''  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good '' Romans 12:21

We are created for good deeds , however we live in an evil environment that makes us learn to do evil . Many at times good deeds are overpowered by neighbours' evil deeds against our lives .Many a christian have resorted to doing evil deeds when people offend them so much so that , , they loose focus of who they are as new creation .

''Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.'' 2 corinthians 5:17 The new nature of Christ dwelling in us is meant to be holy and righteous .

'' For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. ''  Ephesians 2:10 The Lord want us to walk in our vocation of calling as children of God , we are called forth to be good in the works of righteousness . That is the more reason we are not suppose to do evil in our lives . 

The evil work is the devil's nature that was in our sinful { Adamic } nature into our lives , we are accustomed to live godly lives and not to accept the evil life style of the world .'' And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. '' Romans 12:2 We do not need to allow the world to reshape us into its mood , because the whole world lies in iniquity . 

When you see multitudes doing evil you do not need to join them to do the same evil , but you have let your light shine in that darkness to overcome the sinful environment .'' Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. '' Matthew 5 : 16 The good deeds are suppose to show forth to all and Sunday who are in our environment .The Lord has called us to show forth his praise through our good deeds that our neighbours will see and attest to the life of righteousness working in us . 

So whenever you do evil it is simply because you decide to behave like the unbelieving people around you , who behave how they choose , all because they have not receive the light of Christ into their lives and devil has taken over their minds . If the seed of the born again is really planted in your heart you dare not sin against God . '' Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. '' 1 John 3:9 When you are born again , so to speak , and you are still doing evil , it is because you refuse to allow the seed of God's word to work in your heart .

Prayer 

Lord Jesus thank you so much for saving me , deliver me from evil , help me to overcome evil with good deeds in the name of Yeshua .
