Ref. DLG 3 : New Jerusalem

 '' And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.'' Rev. 21:2

The new Jerusalem is the city of heaven where the saints of God are waiting to inhabit  .It is the place of righteousness ,a beautiful city , prepared by God for the habitation of the saints . The new Jerusalem is a spiritual city that will be revealed and made manifest in the end of the days .Among other things the city has twelve foundations , '' And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.'' Rev. 21:14

The apostles were the foundation of Christianity , hence they are recognized as the foundation of the new Jerusalem . The city has a wall with twelve gates , '' And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: '' Rev. 21: 12 The twelve gates represent the twelve tribes of Israel . Each gate has one tribe of the nation Israel inscribed on it , as well as angels guiding each gate .The city is foursquare in design ,'' And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.'' Rev. 21:16 

The city of heaven is built  of  pure gold .'' And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.'' Rev. 21:18 The city has no temples nor church buildings , neither names of  denominations or independent churches .'' And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it '' Rev , 21 : 22 The city has God's radiant glory which enlightens the city , so no need of the sun , moon , nor stars .'' . ''And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. '' Rev. 21:23

No unclean person can enter heaven ,''  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.'' Rev. 21:27

Those whose names are written in the book of life are liable to enter in to the New Jerusalem . There is a river of life in the city ,'' And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb '' Rev. 22:1 In addition there is a tree of life in the city , '' In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations '' Rev. 22:2 There is no curse in the city , but only blessing , '' And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: '' Rev. 22:3

Prayer 

Lord I thank you for this city ; New Jerusalem , you have prepared for me at the last days , I thank you Lord more especially because I have an inheritance in this city .Help me Lord to be able to enter into this city of heaven , I receive the grace to go there in the name of Yeshua . 

Ref. DLG 2 : New Heaven And A New Earth

 

'' Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. '' 2 Peter 3:13

The new heavens and the new earth signifies a new world that God will provide , for the souls . The '' new heavens '' here refers to the sky or firmament as the book of Genesis 1:8 explains '' And called the heavens firmament '' The present heaven and earth will melt and dissolve away by the fire of destruction at the end of the world .'' Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat ? '' 2 Peter 2:12

The world includes living and non-living things will be burnt with the fire of destruction at the judgement day . The plants , the animals , the mountains , the houses , ultra modern buildings, all forms of vehicles shall burn to ashes .'' But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up '' 2 Peter 2 :10

After the destruction of this present world , { earth and sky } , then will appear the new heaven and earth where God dwells with his people .'' And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.'' Revelation 21:1 Among other things the new heaven and the new earth , has no sea .It is a city that the Lord Jesus has prepared for the saints of God in heaven with mansions for them to dwell forever with the Lord .'' In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.'' John 14:2

There are a lot of impressive houses in heaven , the ones that Jesus himself described as mansions .The new heavens and the new earth is a city of righteousness so there is no evil , no offenses nor sin in the city of heaven .This new heaven and earth is also called '' New Jerusalem '' .'' And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.'' Rev. 21: 2 The new heaven and earth is also a holy city , where God dwells with his children .

 ''And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.'' Rev. 21:3 This new heaven and earth is actually the city of heaven where there is no sin , tears , sorrows, pain, hunger nor death .

'' And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.''  Rev. 21:4

Prayer 

lord help me to enter the city of heaven that you have prepared for me in the new Jerusalem .

Ref. DLG 1 : Preacher of Righteousness

''Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; '' 2 Peter 2:15

Preacher of righteousness ,is the one that has the message of righteousness for the people . This type of preacher has a message that is centered on the righteous requirement of God from human beings . The preacher of righteousness is empowered by God to deliver God's word to a sinful generation , and that was the ministry of Noah .'' These are the generations of Noah; Noah was a just and perfect person in his generations and Noah walked with God ''  Genesis 6:9

The preacher of righteousness is typified by his or her lifestyle , like Noah walked with God in his generation , he was just in his ways .The lifestyle of the preacher is a message on his own ,because it is the written epistle that everyone can easily see and read about you . You cannot preach a message of righteousness and live a life of unrighteousness .

 '' Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? '' Romans 2:21-22 A preacher's lifestyle constitute a greater percentage of his message .What you do speaks of who you are and promote the message you preach .

There are so many types of preachers , these includes , social ,political , success, motivational , and the like .The type of preacher that God uses to save people from destruction , damnation and judgement to come is the preacher of righteousness .This type of preacher highlights righteousness as the way of life and sin as an evil deed , and abominable in the sight of God .

The preacher of righteousness is the person God uses to get the  attention of the sinful world,In the bible there are a lot of preachers of righteousness , these includes , Noah ,Daniel ,Lot , Moses , John the baptist ,and the some prophets such as  Amos, Jonah , Joel , Isaiah , Jeremiah , Ezekiel and the like .These were used mightily to condemn the sinful behaviour of their generation and to call the people to repentance . Are you willing to be a preacher of righteousness for your generation ? 

Prayer 

Lord my God make me a preacher of righteousness to my generation in the name of YESHUA .
