Ref. DLG 24 : Positive Thinking , Positive Result

'' Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus ' Philipines 2:5  

The mind has power to control our human destiny , the way you think affect your words and actions to a large extent .Therefore it is good to cultivate the habit of positive thinking all the time .Positive thoughts always produce positive results, that we so much desire to achieve . The way a person thinks affects his or her daily decision ,and ultimately affects actions and destinies . 

A positive thinker have faith in everything that appears negative and effectually work out things to the desired goal . Actually positive thinking is what is described as faith. When you think about good things the thoughts help you to take the necessary steps to become what you thought about . The believer must have the consciousness of good things happening in his or her life all the time . 

The child of God must have the positive thinking in his life of  faith for all things .Positive thinking does not doubt nor see impossibilities in any thing. The scriptures affirms ,''  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.'' James 1:6-8 

A positive thinker does not waver nor doubt in any way , it is always sure of that which he or she wants to get in life . The positive thinking has no place for double-mindedness in his or her thoughts . The thought of winning , gaining , getting , profiting , or benefiting in everything that we do or whatever we are believing God for is the positive thinking and this brings the positive or good results that we are expecting in our lives .

Positive thinking means , you are optimistic about your life plans , goals , aims , purpose , visions , , dreams , desires , or wishes . After prayer all that you need do is to obey the word of God for your life and the difference will be clear . '' And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. '' 1 John 5: 14-15 

Whenever you think positive  positive , you are bound to have what you thought of in your life coming to pass . So positive thinking is the faith that produces the desired thing ''.Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. '' Hebrews 11: 1 

Prayer 

Dear Lord Jesus , I thank you for the life of God that is working in me , help me to be a positive thinker , so I can have positive results .

Ref. DLG 23 : Alter Of Sacrifice

''  Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. '' Psalm 50:5

The Lord delights in establishing a covenant relationship with his children . This covenant relationship is established by sacrifice . The alter of sacrifice is the one  that is  really needed for the sacrifice .In the Old Testament bible we discover that alters were used for the sacrifice of animals being offered as an offering to the Lord . The animals are usually slaughtered and burnt on the alter  of sacrifice called the alter of the Lord.

In the new Testament Christianity ,  Christ Jesus was once sacrificed on cavalry for the atonement of our sins .''How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? '' Hebrews 9:14 The individual christian also have a responsibility to sacrifice his or her sinful flesh on the alter of sacrifice .

The body , that is the sinful flesh must be offered on the alter of sacrifice .''I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.'' Romans 12:1 This alter of sacrifice receives a living  sacrifice . This is quite unlike the Old Testament alter of sacrifice , which receives dead sacrifices , because this New Testament alter receives living bodies as sacrifices  to God . 

This means your body is wholly given to the Lord as an offering , in that sense you do not own yourself , but the Lord owns you and for that matter you cannot use your body to do all sinful things that pleases your sinful flesh and desires .The sacrifice of the body kills all the sinful pleasures on the alter of sacrifice, so that the new life of righteousness is revealed in you.

'' Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. '' 1 Peter 2:24  The body is dead to sinful pleasures and alive to righteousness in Christ Jesus our Lord . It is the life of God in you, because it is no longer you , but Christ alive in you .'' I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. '' Gataians 2:20 

Prayer

Dear Lord I offer myself as a living sacrifice for you , use my body , soul, and spirit for the purpose of your kingdom in the name of Yeshua  .

Ref. DLG 22 : A Prepared People

'' And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb '' Rev. 7: 14 

Heaven is meant for a prepared people of God , who through diverse trials and temptations has being through tribulation and persecution and has persevered in the faith in Christ .A prepared people are those who are washed with the word of God and are cleansed from sin , spot , blemish , and any stain of defilement .'' That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. '' Ephesians 5:26-27

The purpose of God for the people of God is that they may be prepared in such a way as to be able to enter the prepared place { heaven }. This means the people of God must be holy , purge , washed , and cleansed of every evil , sin, iniquity , and all forms of transgression .

    A prepared people are those who have overcome the world of sin and iniquity .'' For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.''  1 John 5:4 Overcoming the world entails overcoming the flesh , the lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh as well as pride . These are basically the things of the world that makes people  live in sin . 

'' For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.'' 1 John 2 :16  The children of God must be prepared in such a way as to overcome all these things . The prepared people of God do not love the world in any way . They have no place for lust of the flesh , nor lust of the eyes .  These have accepted the humble life of Christ Jesus and are prepared  for eternal life in heaven .

Their minds are heaven ward and their desire is to be with the Lord almighty .'' If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.'' Colossians 3:1-2  The prepared people are focused on Christ Jesus and are people who are ready for the kingdom of heaven and have a life style of waiting for the second coming of our Lord and the rapture of the church .

Prayer 

Dear Lord help me to be  prepared and ready for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ so that I can inherit the heavenly mansions prepared for me in Jesus name . amen .                                                                      

Ref. DLG 21 : A Prepared Place

 ''And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also ''John 14:3

Jesus actually prepared this heavenly place for us in his kingdom so that at the appointed time we shall go there . The heavenly city is still being prepared for as many would believe in Jesus Christ and live the life of Christ . Jesus talks about mansions being in his father's house and that God has prepared many of them for  his children .

'' In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.'' John 14:2 The prepared a place for us individually according to our works and this is the  reward that will be given to the children of God .'' And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be '' Rev. 22:12 The mansions are our reward as we finish our works of righteousness on earth . 

There are also other things that are prepared for God's children in heaven . For instance heaven's street is prepared with gold .'' And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.'' Rev. 21:18 There are other things that are also prepared for the children of God , such as crowns of  righteousness, crown of glory  , crown of life ,etc '' Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.'' James 1:12 

In heaven there are crowns of life and even river of life that the Christian is suppose to drink and live forever . As well as the tree of life that the saints will eat from and enjoy eternal life forever . '' And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.''  Rev. 22:1-2

The place is prepared in such a way that God will dwell with his people without pain , sorrow , sadness , tears , hunger , crying nor death in heaven . ''And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.'' Rev. 21:14

Prayer 

Lord Jesus Christ , help me to live a life in such a way as to enter this place you have prepared for me . 

Ref. DLG 20 : Those Who Go To Heaven

'' To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, '' Hebrews 12:23 

Those who go to heaven are those whose names are written in the book of life which is in  heaven  . Once you give your life to Christ Jesus your name is written instantly in heaven and it is cost for joy ,because you have access to eternal life in heaven .'' Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. '' Luke 10:20 

Heaven is therefore a place that is designed for everyone who have his or her name written in the lamb's book of life . Jesus promised  heaven  as  a place  being prepared for the disciples of Christ . '' In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. ;''  John                            14:2-3

Heaven is our place of abode , that God has prepared for the believer in Christ Jesus our Lord .'' Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: '' Matthew 25:34 Those who go to heaven are those who follow the works of Christ Jesus and do the same .Those who follow the commands of the Lord and have become rich in good works .  

'' For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. ''  Matthew 25:35-40

Those who go to heaven are those who do the will of the father ,as it is written in the word of God ,''Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.''  Matthew 7:21     Heaven is a city that God has prepared for heavenly minded children of God who do the will of God by obeying the word of God .

Heaven is for those who are saved from among the nations of the world .'' And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. '' Revelation 21:24 Heaven is strictly for the righteous children of God and sinners cannot enter therein.  ''  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life  '' Rev. 21: 27

Prayer 

Lord Jesus help me to lead a life worthy of eternal life in  the kingdom of heaven .Prepare me in such a way that I will be eligible to go to the city of Heaven in the name of Yeshua .

                

Ref. DLG 19 : Those Who Go To Hell

'' But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.'' Revelation 21 : 8

Those who go to hell are categorically stated in the above scripture .

The fearful ; These are those who out of fear of the world and persecution rejects the salvation of God . Those who fear to confess Christ Christ as saviour or even preach to people to people nor go to church because of Fear . '' For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.'' Luke 9:26 

The Unbelieving : These are those who go to hell , because they have not believed the Lord Jesus Christ as the saviour of their soul .'' He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God '' John 3:18 

The Abominable : The abominable are those who practice all forms of sinful activities that are detestable in the sight of God , like homosexuality , lesbianism , bestiality { having sex with animals },and all forms of sexual perversions .

 ''And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.12 And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.14 And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.15 And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.16 And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.'' Leviticus 20:10-17

Sorcerers : These are those who use satanic powers for magics ,and soothsayings , these includes whitchdoctors and all forms of occultism , fetish manipulation , all these are heading towards hell fire unless they repent .

Idolaters : These are those who are into idol worship such as pouring libation , sacrificing of animals and human blood to devils . Anything you honour and worship more than God is idolatry .And all idol worshippers , who worship wood ,stones , silver, gold , mages etc are going to hell fire .

Liars : These are another category of people who go to hell , people that tell different forms of liars to deceive their friends , neighbours , and relatives so as to cheat or fraud them in any way possible .The lies people tell so as to make money , dupe people shall lead them to hell fire .Satan is the architect of all lies . So whenever you lie                                  to cover up the truth , you are actually working for the devil , that is why liars go to hell fire .

Prayer 

Lord Jesus prepare my soul for eternal salvation , so that I will not go to hell fire. Lead my path and direct my footsteps on the pathway of heaven in Jesus name .

Ref. 18 DLG 18 : What Is Hell ?

''And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.'' Revelations 20:15  

The lake of fire is what is also referred to as hell  .Hell is a place reserved for the sinners ,the disobedient and the unbeliever .Hell basically is a fire of torment for the soul because of sin and disobedient  .According to Jesus hell is a place of torment , because is full of flames of fire .'' And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.'' Luke 16:23-24 

According to this portion of scripture hell is a place of flames of fire , that torments people and soul thirsty . It is prepared for sinners who follow the footsteps of the devil . God's original plan in preparing hell was for the devil and all his fallen angels who disobeyed God .'' Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: '' Matthew 25:41

Hell therefore , is a place of fire for the purpose of tormenting the devil and all the fallen angels { demons } who do evil as well as those people who have been deceived to do evil. ''Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.'' Jude 1:7

Hell is a place of vengeance  that consumes with fire , God used fire to burn the city of Sodom as an example of how he will punish sinners with the same fire in hell fire .''The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.'' Psalm 9:17 Hell is meant for the wicked to be destroyed , and perished in the fire thereof . '' For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.'' Deuteronomy 32:22

The fire of hell is kindled by the anger of God ,because of the multitudes  of the sins of the people .The scripture emphatically mentioned some category of people who will go to hell , ''But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.'' Revelation 21:8

PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ , thank you for saving my soul from hell fire ., wash away my sins and write my name in the book of life , in the name of Yeshua .
